Control of caregiver's missing time

Missing time control is one of the essential everyday tasks of the home care agency. If a caregiver missed clock-in, clock-out in ISAS, or both, ISAS does not create a claim, and the service will not be paid. In this case, the agency’s office assistant may use the ISAS website to create the “Missing Time Request.” However, the missing Time Request is due two business days after the end of the month in which the service was performed. Additionally, ISAS will review the request only if it is submitted with specific information about the details.

RSAkit makes the office and caregivers’ data exchange about missed time quicker and more convenient, to help the office assistants quickly put the “Missing Time Requests” into LTSSMaryland.

The methods are as follows:

1. Monitoring of the missing time by the office assistant and then the calls to caregivers.

There are no special requirements for caregivers. The most significant burden is on office staff.

For more, see Monitoring of the missing time by the office assistant.

2. Sending of the "Visits Summary Report" to caregivers and then caregivers' calls to the office.

Caregivers need access to email. There is less workload for office staff.

For more, see Using Visits Summary Report.

3. Caregivers' self-check of missing time using RSAkit, and online data exchange between the office and caregivers.

Caregivers need online access and basic Internet surfing skills. The workload for office staff is minimal.
